The new space incorporates Walbec’s brand, values, and culture with an emphasis placed on designing a flexible and connected workplace of the future. This project included demolition of the current space and construction of the new office and warehouse space. Core spaces for the building include offices (both private and teamwork areas), conference rooms, shared areas, collaborative spaces and warehouse storage area.

This 8,602 sq ft tenant improvement was a development of a new floor suite on an existing multi-tenant floor. This included the reconfiguration of existing space with new walls, doors, and high-end finishes. There were also modifications to the existing mechanical system, power, and lighting throughout. \

This design/build interior tenant improvement is located at the 250 E Wisconsin, 20 story building in downtown Milwaukee. The existing office space included the renovation of two floors totaling 22,385 square feet. The renovation included a reception area/lobby, office spaces, restrooms, corridors, a work café, conference rooms and training room.

The 18,767 square foot design is open office concept focused on collaborative rooms, flexible work areas around the core, and technology. This first-generation space includes small and large meeting areas, offices, open work areas, divisible training room, common space/break room area, server rooms, and printing locations. This project was completed in just over 14 weeks.

Davis & Kuelthau has occupied approximately 34,000 square feet in the Milwaukee Center since the early 1990’s. Renovations included a Lounge-Brary Kitchen that utilized flexible seating and direct access to the outdoor patio, a collaborative meeting space with flexibility to transform for a variety of meeting and gathering styles and Secretarial workspaces to allow greater connectivity and access. The new large workstations will have an exterior view to the patio and the city beyond.


The renovation of the 3-story, 11,000 square foot Wisconsin Casket Building into a multi-tenant office building. The renovation work included structural modifications, new entrances, the addition of elevator and stairwell towers, new exterior windows and upgrades to the building mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. The site located along I-94 required detailed coordination with the Wisconsin DOT to complete the exterior façade modifications.

The Tour & Visitor Center included vibrant new detailed custom millwork, architectural lighting elements, and terrazzo countertops made from recycled bottles, cherry wood floors and glass partitions for the custom MillerCoors motorcycles. Also included was the remodel of the historic Miller Caves. This renovation includes a new water fountain, new ambiance lighting, custom millwork and a new prep kitchen to provide food service for events that are hosted within the space.

After extensive fire damage, Selzer-Ornst Construction Company salvaged this beautiful historic landmark building in downtown Milwaukee’s East Town District. The 25,000 square foot building, renovated in seven months, holds prime multi-tenant space, a restaurant and bar. Selzer-Ornst provided construction management and self-performed the concrete and carpentry services on this compact site.

The renovation of this historic church into new offices was completed in the Spring of 2006. The contrast is stunning: ultra modern upscale lighting and plumbing fixtures alongside preserved 1920’s wooden doors and church rafters. Original stained-glass windows and a mosaic half dome surround modern computer work stations for 25 architects and engineers.

Selzer-Ornst Construction Company completed a 10,800 square foot interior build-out for KPMG located in the 833 Tower on East Michigan Street. Building amenities for this Class “A” office space include interior work comprised of steel studs, drywall, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, millwork, glass, ceilings, fire protection and flooring.

Selzer-Ornst completed remodeling of WVTV/WCGV at the American Tower Building in Milwaukee. The remodeling allows the station to be FCC compliant for digital broadcasting. Work included new electrical to increase the power and new HVAC system to support new transmitting equipment and new room top house complete with new slab flooring.


Selzer-Ornst provided construction management services to construct the new 47,000 square foot state-of-the-art service center in Menomonee Falls. Project amenities include training rooms, customer service, operations and vehicle storage facility. The new energy-efficient center is LEED certified and will allow We Energies to consolidate services from two previous centers to the new single facility resulting in annual cost savings from both the consolidation and energy savings.

Selzer-Ornst Construction Company was selected for the interior remodeling of the downtown Milwaukee offices of Kahler Slater architects. The project consisted of high-end finishes throughout the space. The project was completed while the owner occupied the space in order to meet the fast-track deadline. This 12,288 square foot build-out included open offices, project rooms, kitchen, and reception areas.





This 15,000 sq ft building is comprised of a warm tan brick and pitched shingle roof with windows on all sides of the multi-winged facility. Amenities include shared office and conference room space for multiple non-profit agencies, six separate conference rooms, workrooms, shared kitchen facility, bathroom, technology service areas, and offices.
